Bryan Burroughs
PMHNP-BCBryan Burroughs, PMHNP-BC, is a Rochester native who earned his Nursing degree from St. John Fisher College and completed a transformative semester abroad in Jamaica working with diverse mental health populations. He later obtained his Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Rochester while serving on the adult, child, and adolescent inpatient units at URMC, collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, residents, and social workers. After graduation, he joined a pilot program in the URMC Emergency Department focused on suicide prevention, homeless support, and crisis intervention. Outside of practice, Bryan enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with his wife and children, and volunteers with Spiritus Christi Church supporting homeless individuals and mentoring young men facing legal challenges.
